A career in medicine.
I heart Owen Wilson like Young Liberals heart kicking newborns. Not only because he has a big ol' crooked nose that makes me three kinds of fizzy and he rocks out in killer films (including one of my favourite movies of all time ), but also because he writes .
He is laconically hilarious, hot in a blonde way, he can pass off a piece of dialogue as the wittiest bon mot without breaking a sweat and he also writes . Where do I sign?
Okay, so yesterday I get this. Care of Popbitch :

Shanghai Noon star chases dragon
Everyone's favourite laconic funnyman Owen Wilson recently made a stop off at a "celebrity relaxation centre" to help curb his "partying". However, the story coming out of Wilson's hometown in Texas suggests it may have had more to do with his affinity for horses. And not the kind of horse Texans are famously associated with.
This is where I totally regret not taking up that promising career in medicine. I have a very strong visual of myself spooning hot soup into Owen's needy beak wearing nothing but a low-cut naughty nurse outfit and a willing smile.
Get well soon, Wild Cat.

Ah... Owen.
He's always been something of a problem to me.
I first saw him in Cable Guy... he stood out and I dug his work. But since then he's become contradictory. In penning Rushmore he wrote one of my all time favourite movies, of which their can't be more than six or so, and yet I find his persona in films to be kind of grating. And not just in the way where he's supposed to be grating and you like him for it. The other way. The way that's grating.
However I await The Life Aquatic with more optimistic anticipation than I have for any film that I can recall since Back to the Future Part II. I get Bill Murray in a scuba suit and Owen Wilson can annoy me as much as he likes.
Oh and I should add to that: Get well Owen. All the best to Kumar.
My biggest problem with him is that he picks dud movies, possibly so that he'll stand out as better than everything around him (and he does).
But Zoolander is one of my all-time faves and he is a big part of it. (It's also one of the few Ben Stiller performances I don't get frustrated watching.)
owen! gah!
*melts*
owen (fading in and out of consciousness): ohhh nurse fits... so... hot... right now...
wearing nothing but a low-cut naughty nurse outfit and a willing smile. I can't think of anything I can say to that which is in any way appropriate! ;-)
I think that you could probably get your wish if you just went up to him at a party, told him you're a big fan and you'd like to screw. But I like your elaborate schemes and costumes much better, so forget I said that. Plus if you came all the way to L.A.to-- forget it sounds like the beginning to a bad pun.
I was surprised to find out that he writes. I thought he was one of those brilliant comedic actors that wasn't funny in real life because I saw this Ruby Wax show where she was interviewing Ben Stiller and Owen was there and he wasn't saying anything and when Ruby tried to talk to him, he looked at Ben and said something like 'What's her problem?'. Then after the interview she was going 'Oh my god that Owen guy hates me!!!'. So I don't think Owen is Ms. Fits' type because Ruby Wax has one of those irrepressable Ms. Fits personalities.
