Damn, I was just about to post that picture. She's running in my electorate. I have it on good authority that that photo is about 20 years old. According to my extremely reliable source, she said she's only running so she can serve two terms and get her superannuation.

She hasn't turned up to any events she's been invited to speak at, at one stage preferring to attend a Liberal party function over a charity bash. When The Messenger asked what the function was for, she retorted "my social calendar is none of your business".

So you can see, she's right there with 'the people'.

I can see a LOLPOLLIES competition starting up!

I wish I was good with photoshop, I would make a "Coolingstack Mountain" poster, a love story about two cowboys, Pecos Pete and the Kirribilli Kid, whose love for nucular power brought them together, but a tube of toothpaste with the lid off tore them apart. Then one of them gets bludgeoned by irate locals who "don't care for them types aroun' hurrr"

Insight was the same last week. I'm not sure where they got the people, seemed like quite a few nuff nuffs. I don't think we need to worry, it's in the bag, I overheard people on the train referring to their upcoming libs party as a wake.

I'm with you trepadatious... I have this horrible recurring nightmare of the status quo being maintained only with a whole new raft of marginal seats arising out of Saturday's election - e.g Wentworth - former safe Lib seat, held by less that half a % by Malcolm after Saturday - a trend repeated across the country. I even have the nightmare of , like 98, of the ALP winning greater than 50% of the popular vote, but not winning all 16 seats required to form Gov't.

Its so close, I can taste it, but after 11 years I still dare not dream...

Lest the grammar and spelling gestapo come after me, I realise that I spelt trepidatious incorrectly. Apologies all 'round (walks away cursing his lack of attention to detail and unconscious reliance on spell-check).

The Labor canvasser didn't know where it was but luckily the Greens did, assuring me all the Greens would down there to cheer on Rudd too. Gotta love it.

Hey guys, I was the one responsible for the "Stifler's Mum" signs. We put 22 up around the Unley area before we started getting followed by someone, got scared, and went home.

The one in the picture, which was also the one in The Advertiser, The Telegraph in Sydney and others, was the last one left up after all the others were taken down. Ironically, it was placed directly in front of David Pisoni's (state Liberal member for Unley) office.
