13. Introduced a code of ministerial conduct into their own party, which practically prevents anyone involved in the party from being able to speak out about the bullshit that's been going on in this political system.

I could go on, but I'm making myself sick by talking about these things.

If anything, the only good thing I can think of them doing is introducing the gun laws after Port Arthur. But then again, if they put more funding into the mental health system, Martin Bryant might have at least got some help rather than completely snap.

My gut feeling is that the demonising of Prime Minister Brown Trousers by - with all due respect and regard for fellow posters here - kneejerk lefties is a mistake. I think a lot of the population sees him as a bald, boring fuddy-duddy impacted suburban accountant type, who they probably identify with their boring Uncle Norm (or nearest equivalent). To try and present him as the Antichrist in a lousy fawn suit is probably too hard a sell, and risks pitching swinging voters over more firmly to the Brown Trousers/Uncle Norm camp.
That being said, it's nice for everyone to let off steam here because what's a forum like this for, if not for the steam-letting, and the ranting and the waving of arms and the pherwaaaaay (in a Prof.Frink voice). Or as the great political mind, Buddy Holly put it, "Rave on, it's a crazy feeling".
I don't think it would be a brilliant idea for the Dudd/Gillard ticket (now that we apparently have "tickets" here) to head in that direction publicly, for risk of doing what Dusty Hill from ZZ Top once did when trying to show a gun that he kept in his boot to a reporter, whence he immediately shot himself in the foot.

They have supported the erosion of Socialists Values that created a middle class and fairer distribution of wealth (there current wealth) and so much more that is taken for granted, is slowly disappearing like hard fought union battles are lost by the new IR laws.

So my rant is really about my own disheartened experience as a voter since I left school in 1980 still hopeful and now just a depressed disillusioned cynic who can’t see that either party is a good choice and that there is no other choice?
