Here is someone you should know.
Her name is Amy Sedaris and she's the sister of one of my favourite-ever authors, David Sedaris . I wrote to him and asked him how he coped writing such honest and revealing stories about his family without getting in trouble (me being obsessed with bloggers like Greg the Boyfriend who gets a girl to suck his dick and then blogs about it the next day whether he has a girlfriend or not...do you not agree that this is a brave and artistic choice?). He replied that his family were kind of sick of it but used to it by now. I heart so fucking much that he wrote back. On a typewriter. *Comes*.
Maybe one day I will blog about the real business and you will like me even more as a daring and progressive artist. Wait, what were we talking about? Amy Sedaris. A great wit of our time. A movie is being made of her tv show, Strangers With Candy . Here is a clip of her on Letterman. Don't say that I don't point you toward hotness funny women and enrich your life.

strangers with candy! amy sedaris! david sedaris! its all falling into place now. she is totally unique on the US TV landscape: just the sort of talent the network honchos who try to make US versions of UK shows should be supporting instead.
